To London!

My flight to London went well!
Aside from the complete and utter lack of sleep and the astonishlingly stiff seats, it went by right quick. Half the flight was empty and I spotted many a wide available row, however, little did I know that my fellow passengers were seat sharks who quickly swooped in and took the seats before I could even manage to blink an eye, leaving me to share a row with a dodgy looking fellow who had jerry curls and read comic books for eight hours. Nonetheless, Virgin is a great airline to fly with, and although the seats are made of plywood with little cushioning, they charm you with enough entertainment options (a million movies, docs, tv shows and games), that you don't mind all that much.
I got to watch Spaced, an amazing comedy from the same guys who created one of the funniest movies to date Shaun of the Dead. "Spaced", about two twenty-something slackers who pretend to be a couple so that they can both move into a flat, is witty, creative and irreverant. Basically, something you would NEVER see on American television (*sigh*). Crackhead intern had recommended it giving it high accolades which are completely worthy.
I also got to catch Tarnation, about director and writer Jonathan Caouette's relationship with his mentally unstable mother and grandparents as well as his own emotional and mental demons, which is a lot more experimental than I thought it would be. Towards the end it started to drive me a little crazy. Anyhow, I'd been meaning to watch it and am glad Virgin gave me the chance to do so.
More updates to come soon!
